Founded in 1979, Central City Concern’s mission is to provide comprehensive solutions to ending homelessness and achieving self-sufficiency. Central City Concern (CCC) has transformed lives and communities with a continuum of services from three major program areas: health and recovery services, affordable and supportive housing, and employment opportunities.CCC has housed and restored hope for many thousands of individuals and families, playing a major role in Portland’s dramatic reduction in the rate of homelessness. CCC has upgraded and restored 18 buildings and currently owns/manages 23 buildings representing more than 1,500 units of affordable housing. It serves approximately 13,000 people every year.
