How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been in the jewelry industry "all" my life, as I grew up in the precious metals and jewelry industry. I started in retail sales in high school, moving to the online division in 1998, I took over Tradeshop in 2010 . I absolutely love what I do - its very exciting to be a part of what are usually very happy times for people, engagement, marriage, and often the birth of their children (push presents, mother's jewelry, etc)
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are nationally competitive in our Diamond Pricing, you are working with an owner, not a commissioned salesmen. We do our best to accomodate all budgets, and are very interested in making pieces unique to you, made around your specific style, and for the center stone(s) you select, rather than selling rings that are 'made for any stone" or that every other girl across the states has. We recycle metal, use your stones, offer semi - precious to extremely fine gemstones, and excel at hand engraved jewelry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location based in Portland, Oregon. Many of our clients are scattered throughout the United States, with others out of the country - Australia, England, South Africa, Hong Kong, etc. The beauty of the internet is that our home office could be anywhere, and you still receive the outstanding service and quality we provide, regardless of where you sit. We have 11 years of client previews/finished custom projects on our archived web pages, 5 years of client projects on our Facebook @diamonddealsllc and hundreds of finished examples on Pinterest @tradeshop 95% of those projects were done remotely.

Our office is located in downtown Portland in the Willamette Building at 534 SW 3rd Avenue, Suite 705 . This is the corner of 3rd Avenue and Alder Street. Which areas do you service?
Anywhere fedex ships we ship, however, there are insurance limits going into some countries. All transactions outside the US must be paid by wire transfer.
