New Day School is a Neo-Humanist preschool which is dedicated to the holistic development of the mind, body, heart and spirit, through the cultivation of creativity, intellectual faculties, ethical values and intuition of the children and teachers. Our education teaches respectful & loving service to all beings of this universe. Our curriculum is based on these very principles of Neo-Humanist Education.
New Day offers full day preschool & kindergarten programs (7:30-5:30 M-F) with part week options, of MWF or T/Th. We serve children 2 ˝-6 years. Our quality childcare program is of particular service to our many low income and single parent families that are under served by the childcare resources available in the community. New Day offers a sliding scale fee schedule to open our preschool program to as many families as possible.

• Play based curriculum: Guided creative activities, natural materials, free play, drama, stories, puppet shows etc.
• Gardening & Nature study: Children friendly organic garden where we grow most of our food in summer and different herbs and flowers throughout the year with children’s active participation.
• Meal Service: We offer wholesome vegan snacks and a hot lunch everyday. Our food is lovingly prepared in our school kitchen with an emphasis on whole foods.
